We built a space station in Jerusalem.
Capsule BH was born from a simple frustration: every backpacker hostel in Jerusalem looked the same — fluorescent lights, sad bunk beds, beige paint. We thought: what if a hostel could be the most-photographed building on the street?
We took a hidden courtyard at 31 Jaffa Street — accessed through a stone archway most locals don't even know exists — and turned it into ten futuristic sleeping pods. Smart TVs in every capsule. Streaming pre-installed. Hand-laid tiles in the bathrooms.
We're not a chain. We're not run by a hospitality group. We built this because we wanted to stay somewhere like this when we travel — and it didn't exist.
If you're a backpacker, a digital nomad, a curious traveler — welcome. The light rail's at our door. The Old City's 10 minutes away. And every pod has Netflix.
What we believe
Design isn't a luxury
Beautiful spaces aren't reserved for $500/night hotels. We charge ₪149.
Sleep is sacred
Blackout curtains, climate control, sound-dampened pods. You came to sleep — we made sure you can.
